ThisDay/Arise TV Governor of the year 2024 award: Anene Chigbue felicitates Gov Oborevwori ~ Truth Reporters

The Senior Special Assistant ( SSA) Political matters , to the Governor of Delta State , Chief Anene Chigbue , has felicitated his principal , Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , on the Monday 27th January 2025 "Governor of the year 2024" award bestowed by This Day and Arise TV media.

The SSA Political, noted with glee, that Governor Oborevwori , who recently was nominated by another nationally acclaimed newspaper tabloid, the Daily independent , as it's 2024 Governor of the year awardee, has, to all intents and purposes, justified his MORE agenda in the deliverance of democratic dividends , to Deltans.

In his congratulatory message made available to journalists in Asaba, Anene Chigbue, also a one time Youth leader of the PDP in Delta State , added emphatically , that Governor Oborevwori,s assumption of office since May 29 2023, has witnessed tremendous development on all fronts , from completion of projects inherited from the Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa administration, to initiation of new ones which are at various stages of completion.

He particularly lauded the Governor,s proactive acumen in project inspection and emphasis on strict adherence to Bill of Quantities ( BOQ), which will ensure that Deltans get value for their money.

The SSA Political who listed among others the ongoing Achalla--lbusa road , the 139 kilometre Ughelli Asaba road dualization project , the completed Okpanam--lbusa bye pass, the ongoing #78 billion three flyovers and cloverleaf project at DSC roundabout, PTI and Enerhen junctions, as well as multiple storm water drainage projects and the Orerokpe campus of Delta State University of Science and Technology , without any external or internal loans, as evidence that the Governor is a prudent manager of public funds.

Said Anene Chigbue: " Without any iota of doubt , the Governor of the year 2024 award bestowed in his Excellency , Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , by This Day and Arise TV media conglomerate , is well deserved. And when you add the recent Daily independent Governor of the year 2024 award also for our street credibility Governor, what it tells us is that Deltans did not make any mistake in voting overwhelmingly for him. He has added panache and savvy to the governance of the state , in line with his administration,s MORE agenda. Projects left, right , centre, across the three Senatorial districts,  human capital development epitomized by over 200,000 Delta youths , widows and less privileged , benefitting from various empowerment packages courtesy of D-Cares and other programmes in less than twenty months of assumption of office , is worthy of applause ".

The SSA Political urged Governor Oborevwori to continue to do more for Deltans , while affirming that the sky is indeed the starting point for Delta,s unprecedented development and unity, going forward.

He therefore appealed to all Deltans ,irrespective of political affiliations , to continue to support the Oborevwori administration in it's avowed determination to build on legacies of previous administrations and ensure that the state gets it's fair share of dividends of democracy second to none.
