Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete JP , has commended the Delta State Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on receiving the prestigious Thisday Newspaper and Arise Television Governor of the Year 2024 Award, describing the recognition as well-deserved.

In a statement released to the media, Akpodiete  praised Governor Oborevwori’s visionary leadership and transformative governance in Delta State. He said, “Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has successfully crafted a masterpiece in Delta State. This award is a testament to his widespread popularity and his unwavering commitment to deploying the state’s resources for the collective good of all citizens.”

Akpodiete further extolled the governor’s outstanding leadership qualities, emphasizing their role in fostering development and progress. “His exemplary approach to governance has redefined leadership in Delta State, resulting in numerous remarkable projects—both ongoing and completed—that have elevated the state to enviable heights.”
