A.C. Okocha celebrates Oborevwori's ThisDay/Arise TV Governor of the year award ~ Truth Reporters

PDP Delta elder statesman , Chief Andrew Chukwudi ( A.C) Okocha , has celebrated the Monday 27th January 2025 This Day / Arise TV,s Governor of the year 2024 award bestowed on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

He stated that the prestigious award was an emphatic stamp of national and international recognition of the Governor,s impactful stint within his  less than 20 months in office.

Speaking with newsmen at his country home , ACOM house , in Ogwashi Uku, headquarters of Aniocha South local government , an elated A.C Okocha noted that the award winning Governor Oborevwori has been able to pilot the affairs of the state in such a manner that even the opposition has acknowledged his leadership prowess

The Ogwashi Uku Peoples Democratic Party Leaders and Elders Forum ( OPDPLEF) National Chairman added that Governor Oborevwori has blazed the trail in delivering democratic dividends across the state , as can be seen from completed and ongoing projects such as the lbusa Okpanam by pass, the 139 kilometre Ughelli Asaba road dualization , the Ewulu-- lsheagu road , the #78 bn three flyover and clover leaf projects at DSC roundabout, PTI and Enerhen junctions , respectively , various storm water drainage projects , massive investments in the education and health sectors as well as empowerment of over 250,000 Delta youths though D-Cares , among others too numerous to mention

The Ogwashi Uku kingdom political and cultural leader stated unequivocally that the recognition of the Governor by another nationally acclaimed media outfit, the Daily independent , as their Governor of the year 2024 awardee, clearly underscores Oborevwori as a high performing Governor whose proven track record of integrity in public service , is second to none.
