*Inequitable Representation: A concern regarding Hon. Jonathan Goru's project allocation in mandate area* ~ Truth Reporters
It is very sardonic that the progress report presented by the Commissioner representing Ughelli South, Udu, Uvwie and the Urhobo people of Warri South in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon Jonathan Goru concentrated about 80% of the executed projects in Udu and particularly, Ogbe-Udu his hometown without a single project in Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The most annoying thing, is that Goru is even tagging these one-sided-projects as part of the MORE agenda of Gov Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori.
It is very embarrassing. That's not how to spread the MORE agenda. The MORE agenda we know stands for equity, fairness, justice and peace.
The report is reproduced below, "Progress Report: Hon Goru Delivery the More Agenda through DESOPADEC
1) Ongoing rehabilitation of Ogbe-Udu Road, *Udu Local Government Area*
2) installation of Solar power Street Lights Ejegba, Warri South Local Government Area
3) Renovation of a block of six classrooms in Okolor-Waterside, *Udu Local Government Area*.
4) Ongoing construction of drainage at Ofoni drive, Uvwie Local Government Area.
5) Construction of a State of art ICT center at Ogbe-Udu Primary School, *Udu Local Government Area*.
6). Installation of solar street lights in Ogbe-Udu community in *Udu LGA of Delta State*.
7). Installation of solar street lights in Ukpiovwin community in *Udu LGA of Delta State*.
8). Rehabilitation of Caro Street Road in Orhuwhorun community in *Udu LGA of Delta State*
9). Enrollment of JAMB for over (100) one hundred students
10). Fencing of Ogbe-Udu community Secondary School in *Udu LGA"*.
The Hon Goru should be called to order to see reasons that he is not only Ogbe-Udu Commissioner and if he refuses to do the needful, then the people of Ughelli South LGA can say to your tent oh Israel!
