Ezinne Lady Okocha elected Anasi of Idumu-Alibu, in Ogwashi-Uku ~ Truth Reporters

 

It was pomp and pageantry amidst jubilation , when Ezinne Lady Okocha , was elected unanimously as the ANASI( head of all ldumu Alibu wives), in Agidiehe quarters of  Ogwashi uku , in Aniocha South.

Ezinne Okocha, wife of foremost Ogwashi Uku kingdom political leader , Chief A.C Okocha , took the mantle of leadership from the incumbent ANASI, Mrs Benedicta Okonjo.

At the impressive ceremony which held at ACOM house, lsah road in Ogwashi Uku, headquarters   of Aniocha South , and attended by the  Annasi idumu-Alibu of Agidiehe quarters in Oguwashi- Uku( women), lke ( men) Agidiehe, family , friends as well as political associates of Chief A.C Okocha, Ezinne Lady Okocha , promised to carry all Annasi Idumu-Alibu of Agidiehe Quarters in Ogwashi Uku.along in the discharge of her duties as Anasi.

She said as the new leader of all the ldumu Alibu  wives, of Agidiehe ,  she would strive to ensure their welfare is paramount in the scheme of things , going forward.

Ezinne Okocha urged the Annasi Idumu-Alibu of Agidiehe Quarters in Ogwashi Uku, to remain supportive of their husbands as well as imbibe sound moral and cultural traits on their children , in order to bequeath a legacy of high moral rectitude and respect for the customs and traditions of the community in their conduct.

In a brief remark , Chief A.C Okocha said he is confident that his spouse will bring all Annasi Idumu-Alibu of Agidiehe Quarters in Ogwashi Uku. under one umbrella of unity and purpose, in the discharge of her new role as the leader ( ANASI) , of all ldumu Alibu wives in Agidiehe quarters of Ogwashi uku.

A Thanksgiving service which also coincided with Ezinne Okocha,s birthday , was held at the Holy Family Catholic Church , off lsah Road in Ogwashi Uku , to also thank God for a successful election as leader of the ldumu Alibu wives.

A reception thereafter held at ACOM house on Christmas day , Ezinne Okocha,s birthday, where guests were treated to lavish meals and sonorous traditional music.
