Association Of Education Officers Elect Jemijere Unuigbe Delta Chairman ~ Truth Reporters

 

The Association of Education Officers in Delta State, have elected Comrade Jemijere Unuigbe as the new State Chairman. 

Unuigbe was elected at an election held at the Conference Hall of the Prof. Chike Edozien Secreteriat, on Wednesday.    

Declaring the result, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Amos Attah, said Unuigbe polled 134 votes to beat his only challenger, Austin Ogbeni who scored 20 votes. 

Attah said the election was rancour free, and was graced by Education Officers and Directors of departments from the Ministries of Primary, Secondary, Technical and Higher Education respectively. 

According to the Electoral Committee, the swearing in of the elected officers will take place tomorrow 19th December, 2024 at the Olorogun Felix Ibru Secretariat, Asaba.
