6th Anniversary: Olotu & Ekuogbe Rowland Foundation enrolls 120 into Delta contributory health scheme ~ Truth Reporters

The Olotu & Ekuogbe Rowland Foundation today celebrate 6th year anniversary of committed and relentless service delivery to individuals, communities especially within Delta state.  

Speaking during his welcome address, the Executive Director, Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete (JP) revealed that over six years ago, this foundation has been impacting lives through free medical care, giving out scholarships, and training of youths in fish farming.

Dr. Olotu further stated that to mark the six years anniversary, they also embarked on enrolment of over 120 people into the Delta State Contributory health  Insurance Scheme.

Also speaking at the ceremony held today 16th December, 2024 at Otor-Ihwreko community town hall Ughelli, was the Director General of Delta State Contributory health commission, Olorogun Dr. Issac Akpoveta, he expressed satisfaction with the foundation for enrolling over 120 persons into the health scheme. 

Akpoveta further assert that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori gave them the mandate to honour as many that will key in to enrol the vulnerables within our communities. 

He concluded that today, according to the Governor's matching order, we are honouring Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete JP, as health insurance ambassador (HIA) for using his foundation to invest on the health of Deltans.

Responding shortly after the award, Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete thanked His Excellency for the recognition, asaured that this would spur the foundation to do more, that transforming and impacting lives has been their watch word over the years.

Amb. Kennedy Ivwromonena Atevure, responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanked the foundation for this rightful initiative of giving back to the society through this medium. He noted that the importance of health can never be over-emphasized because health is wealth. Prayed God to bless and strengthen them in all they do.
