2027: Odogbor drums support for Oborevwori’s re-election ~ Truth Reporters
Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Mass Mobilization, Pastor (Dr) Vincent Udume Odogbor, yesterday called on Deltans particularly the people of Isoko nation to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Odogbor who is National Coordinator, Sheriff Call Center, made the call when he played host to the Isoko South chapter of the group at his country home in Olomoro.
In what the governor's aide termed a thank you meeting, Odogbor appreciated the teaming supporters and members of Sheriff Call Center for their overwhelming support during the 2023 governorship election for Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
He further, enjoined them to keep supporting the programmes and projects of the Oborevwori's MORE Agenda.
Odogbor stated that Governor Oborevwori was very passionate about developing the state, leaving no stone unturned.
He remarked that since assumption of office, Governor Oborevwori has embarked on meaningful development drive accross the state and also creating opportunities for Deltans through the D-CARES programs which some of the members are beneficiaries.
The governor's aide added that, Her Excellency, Deaconess Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, wife of the Governor and Matron of the group, has shown so much support by facilitating over 80 slots for the group members accross the 25 LGA.
"We are grateful for this unprecedented love and kind gesture from His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his dear wife, Her Excellency, Mrs Tobore Oborevwori."
The governors aide also stated that the slots given to the gruop was not just for Isoko South members alone, that other members from the other 24 LGAs were also beneficiaries, adding that more opportunities will come in 2025.
"Let me use this opportunity to wish His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, His dear wife Her Excellency Dcns Mrs Tobore Oborevwori the founder of 'You Matter Charity Foundation' a very happy Christmas and prosperous new year."
The Governors aide who believes in spreading the dividends of democracy to all, in line with the Opportunity for all innitiative of His Excellency gave appointments to three of the members in Olomoro ward 6, one each from Ukoli, Egbo and Uruabe quarters.
The three appointees to the Senior Special Assistant on Mass Mobilization to the Governor of Delta, includes two male and one female.
The elated members and coordinators of Sheriff Call Center, thanked the Governor for appointing Pastor (Dr) Vincent Udume Odogbor, a man they could trust to handle their issues of concerns, adding that within the short period of his appointment he has done very well.
