Okpoye Lauds Oborevwori, Urges Ogulagha Community, Others To Continue Support For Gov's MORE Agenda ~ Truth Reporters

Hon. Spencer O. Okpoye, the Commissioner representing the Ijaw ethnic group on the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) board, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his unwavering commitment to the M.O.R.E. Agenda. 

Okpoye made this statement during the inauguration of the Ogulagha Model Secondary School, a DESOPADEC initiative, in an interview with WAFFI TV.

He commended the Governor’s efforts toward developing riverine regions, particularly oil-producing communities, noting that the Ogulagha Model School exemplifies just one of many significant projects undertaken by the administration. 

Okpoye stated the government’s dedication to providing essential services through DESOPADEC, showcasing a vision for sustainable progress in these often-overlooked areas.

He further noted that the DESOPADEC board, led by Chief Barrister Nani, remains firmly committed to the Governor’s M.O.R.E. Agenda, which emphasises meaningful development, opportunities, realistic reforms, and increased engagement with the populace. Okpoye stated that the current board is diligently working to realize the Governor's vision throughout Delta State.

He also expressed gratitude to the people of Ogulagha for their ongoing support for DESOPADEC and the People's Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in Delta State. 

He encouraged them to remain loyal to Governor Oborevwori’s administration, as more developmental projects are on the horizon.
