Chief A C Okocha felicitates Ex Gov, Uduaghan, @ 70 ~ Truth Reporters

As felicitations continue to pour in for a former Governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan , CON, as he clocked 70 years on Tuesday October 22, 2024, elder statesman of the People's Democratic Party ( PDP) , in the state , Chief A C Okocha, has joined prominent Nigerians in the eulogies

In a congratulatory message to the former Governor, Chief Okocha, the Ogwashi Uku kingdom in Aniocha South , political leader ,  said the contributions of Dr Uduaghan to the growth and development of the state will not be forgotten in a hurry

The business magnate stated that Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan,s Three ( 3) point agenda of Peace and Security, human capital development and infrastructural development , were pivotal to the enduring level of development currently being built upon by successive administrations after he left office as Governor

The Ogwashi Uku People's Democratic Party Leaders and Elders Forum ( OPDPLEF) National Chairman , recalled among others , the free maternal and under 5 health care programmes initiated by the Uduaghan administration, noting that the programme was widely acclaimed even at the national level

Chief Okocha who described the former Governor as an astute administrator and consummate politician whose various legacy projects adorn the state , added that he ( Dr Uduaghan) remains one of the committed elder statesmen from Delta whose imprints go beyond the state

While noting that former Governor Uduaghan has remained a reference point in the historical narratives of his state , starting from when he was Commissioner for Health, to Secretary to the State Government ( SSG) and later two term Governor, the Ogwashi Uku kingdom political leader prayed God to continue to imbue the former Governor with good health and divine protection to be able to offer his wise counsel to the state at all times he is called upon
