The Supervisory Councillor of Health, Hon. Kelvin Onyemari who was on ground to monitor the exercise, said he was impressed with the work done.
While thanking the Council Chairman for releasing the needed funds for the exercise, he promised to constantly monitor the activities of the committee.
In his reaction, Mr. Famous Abaye, Environment Committee of the local government, said he said nobody will be too big not to comply with the clear mandate to ensure that the streets and culverts are kept clean.
The committee chairman and the supervisor assured residents of Ika South particularly those in Agbor metropolis to be partners in the quest for a clean community.
They advised residents against the attitude of throwing wastes into drainages, saying such actions are detrimental to the environment as wastes block the drains which in turn lead to flooding and damage the roads.
They maintained that the Hon. Ehiwarior led administration was poised to create positive impacts on the lives of the people through people-orientated policies, programmes.
