Ukodhiko greets Orodje of Okpe on 18th coronation anniversary ~ Truth Reporters

 




Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Retired-Major General Felix Mujakperuo Agho, Orhue 1, on his 18th coronation anniversary as the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.


The House of Representatives member, in a Statement on Sunday, lauded the monarch, who is the Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council for his immeasurable contributions to the peace, unity and development of Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo ethnic-nationality and Delta State.


The Isoko federal lawmaker described the Okpe monarch as “a astute, highly coordinated, and intellectually profound traditional ruler with an unblemished record of public service to the State and nation, as administrator, first-class military officer and currently as Chancellor of the Nigerian Army University, Biu .


“Since ascending the throne of your forefathers in July, 2006, as Orhue 1, the Orodje of the great Okpe Kingdom, you have been untiring in advancing the interests of your people and attracting attention and development which put the Kingdom on the path of greatness. 


“You are a monarch of all season, custodian of the Okpe culture and tradition, commendably the playing the roles of arbiter, mediator, and fostering the unity of the State and promoting inter-tribe relationship.


“Also, you are a admirable and visionary leader per excellence who passionately continues to provide enduring and purposeful leadership to the Delta State Traditional Institutions in your capacity as the Chairman of the State Traditional Rulers Council 


“On behalf of my family and people of Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, I congratulate a seasoned public administrator, highly garlanded army chief, first class monarch and the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Retired-Major General Felix Mujakperuo Agho (CFR), Orhue 1 on his 18th coronation anniversary.
