Road Inauguration: Continue to support Gov Oborevwori, Adeleke urges Deltans ~ Truth Reporters

Osun State Governor , Senator Ademola Adeleke, has urged Deltans t continue to support the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, in order to benefit from his MORE agenda


Governor Adeleke gave the appeal at the inauguration of the 5.3km lbusa_Okpanam bye pass in Oshimili North local government


According to the Osun State Governor , Oborevwori, in just one year of governance of Delta State, has made the delivery of democratic dividends across the State , visible for all to see


While thanking the government and people of Delta State for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage since they arrived the State , Governor Adeleke said he is proud to be associated with his Delta counterpart owing to his ( Oborevwori,s) commitment to better the lot of his people through the execution and completion of quality projects such as the lbusa_ Okpanam bye pass project , which will not only further link the adjoining towns of lbusa and Okpanam, but also escalate socio ecomomic activities along that corridor.


He therefore commended Governor Oborevwori for working for his people who freely gave him the mandate to govern them.


In his remarks earlier, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori assured Deltans that they will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy in line with his administration,s MORE agenda.


Oborevwori paid glowing tributes to his predecessor , Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, whose administration initiated the project , pledging that all inherited projects of the previous administratoons will be completed.


Earlier in a welcome address , the Commissioner for Works in charge of Urban Roads, Hon Reuben lzeze , said the 5.3km lenght road project ,  which comprised 10.6km drains with 10.3 m pavement, and with of 7.3 asphalt overlay, was constructed in line with the Bill of quantities ( BOQ) , and Bill of Engineering measurement , to checkmate any occurrence of perennial flooding that had impacted heavily on the residents of the area along the corridor .


In their remarks , the Obuzor of lbusa, Prof Louis Nwaoboshi, and Ugoani of Okpanam,  Obi Michael Mbanefo, expressed immense gratitude to Governor Onorevwori for seeing to the actualization of the project.
