'Thank God is Friday' is a phrase commonly used by the young generation to depict the beggining of funful days as the curtain of the week moves to close. It is a term that encapsulates the joy and relief many people feel as the workweek comes to an end and the weekend begins. Friday being the sixth day of the week and the last working day, people  anticipates rest and relaxation after a long week of work, school, or other responsibilities.  Friday signifies the beginning of a period where people can rest, relax, and rejuvenate. The anticipation of having time to unwind without the immediate pressures of work brings a sense of relief and excitement.

In Isoko South Local Government, headquartered in Oleh, the people are having a sigh of relief as their Friday came to be on Monday. With yesterday's inauguration of Hon. Friday Ovoke Warri and his consequent assumption of office today, the joy of the people knows no bound.
