Food Inflation: Rep. Ukodhiko set to distribute fertilisers to Isoko farmers ~ Truth Reporters
Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko is set to distribute 216 bags of Urea fertilisers to support farmers as prices of agricultural products continue to soar beyond the reach of the common man.
Ukodhiko who is Deputy Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology, in a statement on his official Facebook page said the initiative is to support food security in the Federal Constituency.
The statement read: Dearly beloved constituents,
"We are pleased to announce that our office will be distributing free 216 bags of Urea fertiliser to support farmers.
"The free Urea fertiliser distribution initiative aims to promote and boost agricultural development and enhance food security in Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
"Farmers who are into vegetable farming are encouraged by this notification to reach out to Hon. JERRY OBI on 08037619921, and Mr. IKODUDU KINGSLEY on 08033080432, to register their interests to enable my team to effectively distribute the bags of fertiliser to those that actually need them.
"I wish you all a fruitful new week!"
