Celebrating Prof. James Okoro at 54 ~ Truth Reporters

 

Today marks the 54th birth anniversary of the Rector of Delta State Maritime Polytechnic, Burutu, Prof James Okoro.

Okoro, a household name and native of Olomoro, in Isoko South LGA of Delta State is Professor of Business Education at the Delta State University, Abraka. He is a renowned expert in Entrepreneurship education, E-Learning, Information and Communication Technology at the Educational Administration Department of Business Education, DELSU, Abraka.

Okoro has served as Acting Director, Instructional Resource Centre (2011-2017), Coordinator DELSU Affiliate Programme Agbor (2017), Faculty of Education Representative to Senate (2017), Head of Department of Business Education (2017), Managing Editor, Delta Business Education Journal, Member Editorial board, Nigeria Journal of Business Education, Member Association of Business Educators of Nigeria (ABEN) and Chairman, Association of Business Educators of Nigeria (ABEN) Delta State Chapter (2015-2020).

Prof Okoro is not only a respected academic but also a well-liked and versatile individual. His ability to work with various administrations suggests that he is a skilled collaborator and team player, able to adapt to different leadership styles and priorities. His jovial nature likely makes him a pleasure to work with, and his capabilities have likely earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers.
