*Tebite congratulates Oborevwori on 1st anniversary as Delta Governor* ~ Truth Reporters





Executive Director Projects, on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Taleb Tebite has Congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his one year in office as the Executive Governor of Delta State.


Hon Tebite in his Congratulatory Message hailed the Governor for his successful implementation of his MORE Agenda within one year in office.


The former lawmaker and prominent Urhobo chief, listed the massive road construction across the state, completion of several projects embarked upon by his predecessor, payment of pension arrears to retirees, payment of promotion arrears to civil servants and ten thousand naira palliative to civil servants for three months to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal, as some.ofnthe achievements of the Governor.


Hon Tebite also listed the employment of teachers, payment of bursary to students, construction and renovation of public schools in the state as well as construction and equipping of Health Centres across the state as other achievements.


The DESOPADEC Executive Director Projects said, Governor Oborevwori's master stroke in the last one year was the award and commencement of.the construction of three flyovers, cloverleaf and pedestrian bridges in Warri and Effurun by construction giant, Julius Berger.


He noted that DESOPADEC has also.keyed into the MORE Agenda of the Governor by carrying out several life changing projects in their mandate areas within the last one year for Indigenes of oil and gas producing Communities are happy with the Governor and the commission.


Hon Tebite added that, they were able to achieve this, as a result of Governor Oborevwori's successful implementation of the enhanced Peace and security agenda.


He urged all Deltans to continue to support Governor Oborevwori to enable him succeed in his quest to advance the state.


Hon Tebite prayed God to grant Governor Oborevwori sound health, more grace and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state.
