Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior has sent warm felicitations to Nigerian children particularly those in Ika South Local Government Area, as they mark National Children Day.
Engr. Ehiwarior, who is the flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forth coming Council polls in the area, in a message issued by his media team, said it was a thing of joy to identify and celebrate with them as they are future leaders of the country.
He noted that children are precious gifts from God, that must be accorded the necessary attention by parents, guardians, teachers and government for a better society.
He stressed that today's celebration "should be a reminder of the need for more and proper attention on the Nigerian child who has been deprived of better living conditions for a long time."
He called on those occupying positions of authority to always enunciate laws and policies that are geared toward improving the living conditions of Nigerians particularly the children, adding that the strength and future of any nation are depended on the quality of the children being raised.
