*Funkekeme Solomon grants scholarship to pupils of his old primary school, gets chieftaincy title* ~ Truth Reporters

Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has granted scholarship up to university level to pupils of Gbesa Primary School Bolou-Ojobo who excel in the quizz contest among schools in the area.

He admonished the pupils who were on hand to witness the conferment of the chieftaincy title of Bolor-owei of Operemo Kingdom on him to be serious with their studies as it is the key to their becoming responsible and successful citizens. 

Solomon announced the offer at Operemo when he was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Bolor-owei of Operemo Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. It was at the first coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, King (Dr.) Ekiomi Oweiagbe John, Ebenana (Traditional Ruler) of Operemor Kingdom. 

According to the monarch, the conferment was in recognition of his accomplishments in bringing development to the community and energising the younger generation to take up worthwhile ventures.

 The ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Governor of Delta State,  Sir Monday Onyeme who represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Ifeanyi Christopher Osakwe. Other personalities at the ceremony  include the Speaker of the Delta House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor.

Also present were the chairman of the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barr. Kingsley Esiso, many members of the Delta State House of Assembly, Commissioners and political leaders in the state.
