EASTER: Otuaro urges renewal of faith for nation building ~ Truth Reporters

 

Immediate Past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley B. Otuaro, has urged fellow Christians and all Nigerians to contemplate the importance of Easter as a period of renewal, hope, and faith.

Otuaro in his Easter message, emphasized that faith in God is not solely an individual decision but a shared path toward a brighter future for the country.

He underscored that despite Nigeria's myriad challenges, faith provides the resilience to persevere and surmount obstacles like corruption, insecurity, and division. Dcn. Otuaro called on Nigerians to unite, irrespective of tribe, religion, or background, and reaffirm their commitment to the values that bind the nation together.

He said, "As we celebrate the death and resurrection of our dear Lord Jesus Christ in this  Easter, let us reflect on the profound significance of this season in our lives and our nation. Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and faith. It's a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always the promise of new beginnings.

"Believing in God is not just a personal choice; it's a collective journey towards a brighter future for our nation. In the face of challenges, it's our faith that gives us the strength to persevere, to keep pushing forward, and to never lose sight of our dreams.

"Nigeria is a land of immense potential, but it's also a land of diverse challenges. Yet, through faith, we can overcome. We can overcome the barriers of corruption, insecurity, and division. We can build a nation where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, where justice and equality reign, and where peace and prosperity abound.

"Let Easter be a time of renewal for our nation. Let us come together, regardless of tribe, religion, or background, and recommit ourselves to the values that unite us as Nigerians. Let us strive for excellence in all that we do, knowing that with God on our side, nothing is impossible.

"May this Easter inspire us to work tirelessly for the betterment and improvement of Nigeria. Let us believe in God's power to transform our nation and let that belief be our guiding light as we journey towards a brighter future.

Otuaro referencing Romans 15:13, Philippians 4:13, and Jeremiah 29:11, urged Nigerians to derive inspiration from these biblical verses and dedicate themselves energetically to enhancing and advancing the nation. He conveyed confidence that through divine assistance, Nigeria can attain harmony, affluence, and equity for every individual.
