Nigeria Immigration, Zone G, Benin, Welcomes New ACG/ZC, Dakat ~ Truth Reporters

 






The Zone G of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), which comprises of Five states namely Edo, Delta, Anambra, Enugu and  Bayelsa,  with Headquarters  at Benin City, Edo State, was  agog, recently, as a new Assistant Comptroller-General/Zonal Coordinator,  FD Dakat, assumed duty.






Upon arrival at the zonal headquarters, the officers of the zone, led by DCI Christiana Odiri Solo-Akora, put up a supervised colourful parade to welcome the new ACG/ZC.


Shortly after the inspection of guard mounted in her honour, DCI Solo-Akora introduced the senior officers of the zone to the new ACG/ZC FD Dakat.


In a statement in Benin, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the zone, DSI Osazuwa Raymond, stated that after meeting the senior officers, FD Dakat was escorted to her office to assume duty for the day. 






In a brief remarks upon assumption of office, the new ZC enjoined officers to remain dedicated to their duties and shun acts that could jeopardise the operations of the zone. 


She promised to work towards uplifting the zone, warning that no form of indiscipline will be tolerated. 


ACG/ZC Dakat succeeded  ACG/ZC Victor Emeka Nwokike, who served the zone from July 2023 to December 2023,  when he retired.
