Supreme Court: You were deceived into a 'wild goose chase' Izeze blasts Ikie ~ Truth Reporters

The immediate past member representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Reuben Izeze has slammed former Governorship aspirant of the PDP, Chief Aghwarianovwe Ikie for his malicious litigations challenging Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's qualification for the Governorship contest.

Reacting to yesterday's Supreme Court judgement on the appeal brought before it by Chief Ikie, Izeze said the matter was now Res Judicata and congratulated Governor Oborevwori and the Delta PDP for the amazing victory. 

Izeze in a statement on Friday said Chief Ikie was indeed a mole who was deceived into a wild goose chase thinking that he would get to power through the help of the courts.

The former lawmaker said people who lost woefully in an electoral contest were trying to use the instrumentality of courts to get to power through the back door.

According to him, "Now that Mr. Ikie and his malicious matter have finally been put to bed by the Supreme Court, I hope those who nudged him ab initio can now realise the futility of their folly.

"Those who rely on their egos and the erroneous notion that the COURTS of our land shall pander to their whims and caprices after being resoundingly defeated in a free electoral contest should now have a rethink and brace up to the reality of life; "You win some and lose some".

"As for Mr. Ikie and his ilk, there is nothing more demeaning than to be used so effectively by a fellow man in the pursuit of their own political/economic interests.
