AAU Alumni congratulates Oborevwori on inauguration as Delta Governor ~ Truth Reporters

The Asaba branch of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association has Congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his recent swearing-in as the 5th democratically elected Governor of Delta State, describing the Governor as an illustrious alumnus.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman of the Asaba chapter of the AAU Alumni Association, Mrs. Ingrid Atseyinku, described the Governor as a worthy ambassador of the University.

While felicitating with the Governor whom she said was "one of their own and a pride to the institution", on his victory at the polls and his subsequent inauguration on the 29th of May, 2023 to pilot the affairs of the oil rich state in the next four years, the Chairman of the Chapter expressed hope that Governor Oborevwori with his vast experience as the longest serving Speaker of the State House of Assembly, would build on the success of previous administrations.

Mrs. Atseyinku who also extended the association's felicitation to the Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Monday Onyeme said the duo were better equipped to provide the right leadership the state needed "at this time".

Calling on the support and cooperation of all Deltans to rally round the Governor, the Asaba AAU Alumni Association Chairman expressed confidence that Delta State would experience unprecedented peace, progress and rapid development under the leadership of Oborevwori as encapsulated in his MORE agenda
