Umukoro Bags Warri Diocese Episcopal Award ~ Truth Reporters

A renowned legal practitioner and former Secretary to Isoko North Local Government Council, Sir Vote Augustine Umukoro has been honoured with the Episcopal Award of the Diocese of Warri, Anglican Communion, for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the Church. 

Presenting the award today at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Ekpan, Delta State, Bishop of Warri Diocese, Anglican Communion, The Rt. Rev'd Christian Esezi Ide, said Umukoro and 44 other recipients were found worthy of the award in appreciation of their contributions to the growth and development of the Church. 

He charged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the Church adding that the award should encourage them to do more for the church and humanity. 

Responding, Sir Umukoro dedicated the award to Almighty God and the memory of his late mother Mrs Esther Okpagie Umukoro 

The legal luminary flanked by his wife, Lady Ufuoma Umukoro also expressed appreciation to Bishop Ide and his Vicar, Venerable Matthew Olobia for finding him worthy of the Episcopal Award.
