Ukodhiko visits flood victims at Oleh, Olomoro ~ Truth Reporters

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pst Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko on Friday, visited victims of flood disaster at Oleh and Olomoro. 




In company of the Chairman, Isoko South Council, Hon Victor Asasa, the Majority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Onwo, and the Delta Commissioner for Environment, Chief Godspower Asiuwhu, Ukodhiko, firstly, sympathized and donated cash sum to the flood victims camped in Isoko Central School, Oleh. 


He said, “I am seriously concerned about the plights of the victims of the flooding in Isoko nation. 




“Let me assure you all, my brothers and sisters here, who are seriously affected by the flood, there will be interventions in alleviating the suffering of you all just as I pray the flood gets abated very soon,” he said. 


The former Delta Commissioner, Engr Ukodhiko took tours of flood ravaged communities of Olomoro, on an assessment of the damages caused by the flood and shown interests in the people’s plight. 




At the Olomoro Town Hall, Ukodhiko commended and supported with cash sum Hon Onwo, the member representing Isoko South Constituency 2 in the Delta State House of Assembly for relief materials and cash given to the victims of the flood in the State Constituency. 





“I must also commend my brother and Isoko South Council Chairman, Hon Asasa for the great work he’s doing in managing the situation” 


According to him, “Most of the communities visited today, leaves me feeling very touched seeing the houses and farmlands of our people destroyed by the flood. 


“No doubt, the communities of Isoko State Constituency 2 are the worst hit and the most devastated by the flood. 


“This is a sad moment for our people who direly needs our collective support by way of relief materials to ease up the suffering occasioned by the devastating flood,” Ukodhiko stated.
