Olowolekomoh bags Lions' award ~ Truth Reporters
FOR his immense contributions to the growth of the association and society at large, Lion (Prince) Elias Olusoga Olowolekomoh, last Saturday bagged the Lions International, Ikorodu Metro Lions Club(District 404 A1 Nigeria) award.
The awards ceremony also coincided with the Ikorodu Metro Lions Club's free eye event at Odo Nla community Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos last Saturday. The club's activity included; Eye Tests, eye glesses, cataract operations, Diabetes tests, Blood Pressure and medical advice, all free.
The award plaque presented to Prince Olowolekomoh by Lion Babatunde Shobowale stated emphatically that he was being recognised for his "Sincere appreciation of your support and contribution to the growth of the club and Lionism in general".
In response, Prince Olowolekomoh, who incidentally is the Oba elect of Odo Nla kingdom, Ikorodu, said, "It is my pleasure to hereby express my profound gratitude and appreciation to all members of our noble district at large who deemed it fit to accord me with such honour.
"We shall all continue to have many causes to celebrate and distinguish ourselves with selfless services and charities to our district and environs in general to uphold the laudable objectives of the entire Lions Club International of which we are esteemed members and representatives. More grace as we attain to greater heights in our collective aspirations in indomitable spirits of Lions that we truly are. More grace to our future endeavours and strength together," he submitted.
