“The late Archbishop Apena’s philanthropic works and immense contributions to the Christian community, and the peace, education and development of Isokonation will immortalize him in our consciousness, for his legacies will remain evergreen and will outlive him”

The IANA’s leader, Olomu, affirmed that, “Apena, being the first Pentecostal Bishop and Archbishop in Delta State was regarded as a father of Pentecostalism and he had an admirable personality. He lived a life worthy of emulation, a life of service”

“My heart goes out to his immediate family in Irri in Isoko South LGA, and the Christian community in Nigeria. It is my prayer to God Almighty to comfort and strengthen them in this moment of grief. We will sorely missed our spiritual father, Archbishop Christian Apena. It is well” Chief Olomu added
