Flood: Ukodihko hails Okowa’s wife on visit, relief materials to victims ~ Truth Reporters

The wife of the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dame Edith Okowa, has been commended by the party’s House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Engr Jonathan Ukodihko for relief materials given to the people of Isoko nation affected by flood.
Ukodhiko gave the commendation on Saturday at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area when Dame Okowa visited.
According to him, “we are impressed with what the wife of the Delta State Governor, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa has done today.
“She identified with, preached to and inspired the people at the IDP camps in Ozoro in Isoko North LGA and in South South LGA after visiting the Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro that was ravaged by the flood.
“The presentation of relief materials to the flood victims at the IDP camps in Ozoro and in Oleh shows the First Lady of Delta State is very compassionate and concerned about the plights of the Isoko people.
“We thank the mother of Delta State for this kind gesture which will go a long way in easing up the sufferings of the people who are devastated in Isoko.
“I want to seize this opportunity to call on well meaning Isoko sons and daughters to to come to the aid of the victims of the flood in Isoko nation.
“This period is a time to extend a hand of hope, of charity and show love to the people displaced by the flood in our Federal Constituency.
“On our part we will continue to compliment the efforts of the Delta State Government in making life easy for the people that are affected by the flood in Isoko Federal Constituency,“ Ukodhiko assured.
