2023: Ukodhiko promises purposeful representation ~ Truth Reporters

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pst. Engr. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has assured of purposeful representation in the National Assembly that would positively impact the lives of the people of Isoko nation. 

Ukodhiko made the pledge on Friday at his country home in Erawha-Owhe, when he received members of the “Cool Correct Movement “ support group led by president, Sarah Francis

According to him, “what Isoko Federal Constituency needs is purposeful representation and leadership that would address the lingering problems of poverty, unemployment and backwardness of our people “

“I have a lot to offer my people of Isoko. I am in the race for the Federal seat to reposition my people, to use the instrumentality of government at Abuja to better the lots of the people of Isoko nation. 

“My House of Representatives ticket is quite different, because, I am contesting not to make money or be the political leader of Isoko nation. 

“I am contesting to right the wrongs in Isoko ethnic nationality, to give viable economic opportunities to the people in order to show government is all about service to God and humanity, ”

The former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Ukodhiko, called on the people of Isoko nation to give their support and votes to the Atiku-Okowa presidential aspiration and also, support Sheriff Oborevwori for the Governorship and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.

He stated, “Isoko is in for a better deal with me for the House of Representatives, Michael Diden for the Senate, Oborevwori for Governor and Atiku for President. 

“Our Vice presidential Candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is like a father to me and through him with me in the Federal House of Representatives, better things are coming to Isoko nation. And we can only show our support for Okowa by voting enmass for him and Atiku and all the PDP Candidates“

“I have seen the youths of Isoko ethnic nationality are ready to move forward and I am ready to work with the youths, to create opportunities for the youths to excel. I’ll work with smart persons when elected and I know our youths are smart“

“I am fair and just. I believe in fairness. By God’s grace, I’ll remember you all. In my representation, the dividends of democracy will move round equitably in the Federal Constituency “ 

“I’ll run a very transparent representation in which the people of Isoko will know what I have in my Constituency projects. So please, go out an spread the gospel of purposeful representation to the people of Isoko,”.

Earlier in her speech, Sarah Francis, the President of the Cool Correct Movement, said her group cut across both Local Government Areas that made up the larger Isoko Federal Constituency 

She said, “the sole aim of the movement is simply to deliver all candidates of the PDP, from the House of Assembly to the presidency. Let me assure you, we are fully in support of your aspiration and we will hold a door-to-door campaigns in the Federal Constituency,"
