2023: Triumphant women pledge support for Reps candidate, Ukodhiko ~ Truth Reporters

As the electioneering campaigns begin, the Women Wing of the Triumphant Movement has pledged its support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko in the 2023 general elections. 

The group made the pledge in a consultative meeting held at the country home of Engr. Ukodhiko in Erawha-Owhe on Sunday, October 9, 2022. 

The group’s patron, Mrs Joy Ukodhiko-John revealed that, “the women, drawn from the 24 Wards in Isoko Federal Constituency also, unanimously decided to give their total support to the aspiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the presidency. 

“Furthermore, we have declared our support for Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for Governor, Hon Michael Diden for Senate, Hon Ferguson Onwo, Hon Bino Obowomano and Barr. Bernard Odior for the Delta State House of Assembly respectively.” 

Mrs Ukodhiko-John assured the women of Isoko Federal Constituency that, “Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko has factored into his aspiration the empowerment of women for self reliance and self actualization when elected into the Federal House of Representatives“ 

She thanked and encouraged the women of Isoko to stand firmly for Engr Ukodhiko, and other candidates of the PDP in the General Elections, assuring that, they would not be disappointed. 

Earlier, the president of Triumphant Movement who was ably represented by the Coordinator of Triumphant Movement for Otibio-Owhe Ward 13, Comrade Jerry Owharo thanked the women for their active participation, resilience and support to all the PDP candidates.
