2022 Flood: Onwo visits IDP camp, Oleh, doles out cash, food items ~ Truth Reporters

As the 2023 flood continue to ravage communities across different parts of Delta State which has rendered so many persons homeless as some have lost their properties and agricultural products in the process.
Today the Majority Leader and Member Representing Isoko South Constituency 2 at the Delta State House of Assembly Hon (Chief) Ferguson Onwo Ksc, accompanied by his amiable wife Lady Mrs Anthonia Onwo, the PDP House of Representative Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency Engr. Ajiri-Oghene Ukodhiko, Commissioner for Environment Olorogun Godspower Omafuwe Asiewhu, Local Government Chairman Hon Victor Asasa on a visit to the Internally Displaced Persons Camp, Oleh in Isoko South LGA, Delta State.
The Majority Leader speaking during the visit, urge all displaced persons to remain calm stating that in a very short time by God's grace the situation will be over and everyone shall return home. He also dole out cash sum, bags of rice and garri to flood victims to help ameliorate and caution the adverse effects of the flood on displaced persons at the camp.
He commended the State Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, for his intervention to caution the adverse effects of the flood on the people by setting up various IDP Camps across the various affected LGA in the State.
Hon Ferguson sympathize with the displaced persons over the unavoidable effect of the natural disaster, noting that the visit became necessary to enable him contribute his quota to his people who have been displaced by the ravaging flood which has made so many persons to harvest their agricultural product prematurely.
The Chief Camp Commander Mrs Elizabeth Chukwuora who spoke on behalf of the IDP thanked Hon Ferguson Onwo, the PDP HOR candidate Engr. Ajiri-Oghene Ukodhiko and the LGA Chairman Hon Victor Asasa for their financial support and provisions of food items in the camp.
Hon Onwo who heard that different communities through self help has decided to set up various community camps at their communities took his entourage to Olomoro Community were he met with the various Communities President Generals and representatives in Isoko South 2 at Olomoro town hall as he gave out food palliatives to them which they received on behalf of their respective communities. The Majority Leader also visited some flood affected places in Olomoro Community as he call on the relevant federal and state government agencies for urgent intervention.
The President General of Olomoro Community Chief Commander Samuel, Umeh Community President General Mr Emamowho Simeon, the Councilor Representing Igbide Ward 07B Hon Blessing Emeakumor and others who spoke appreciated the Majority Leader for the show of love and support to his constituents stating that the gestures will further encourage the people to support the PDP 5/5 agenda come 2023.
The following community President General/Representives were on ground to received their food items, Uzere Community, Aviara Community, Igbide Community, Umeh/Erohwa Community, Olomoro Community and Enhwe Community.
