Ukodhiko congratulates IANA’s first female president, Queen Olomu ~ Truth Reporters

PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pastor Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated Chief Queen Olomu on her emergence as the first female President-General of the Isoko Association of North America, IANA, last weekend.

Mrs Olomu who hails from Ikpide-Irri in Isoko South Local Government Area, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management, and runs a successful business at  California where she resides.

In a congratulatory message on Monday, Ukodhiko said, “Chief Queen Olomu represents a veritable symbol for the Isoko women and a beacon of hope for the Isoko girls from whom they can draw inspiration from, that it is possible to live life with dignity, of service to humanity and aspire to the pinnacle of all spheres of endeavors“

“I must commend the outgone administration of Chief Obaro Odu for conducting a peaceful and transparent election at the 2022 Biennial Convention in Newark, New Jersey, USA”

“I have no doubt about the ability of Chief Olomu to lead IANA as President-General having previously distinguished herself in the Association as Vice-President (2018-2022)”

“I recall it was Mrs Olomu who spearheaded the implementation of the humanitarian reliefs of IANA given to Isoko communities affected by the 2019 flood,”

The former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko called on the Board of Trustees and members of IANA to accord Chief Olomu and members of her Executive Committee all the necessary support and cooperation they need to pursue the aim and objectives of the body.

While assuring Olomu of his support, Ukodhiko commended the immediate past president-general, Odu for “sustaining the ideas of the body, and leaving behind him a legacy of excellence, projects and programmes that not only improved the living conditions but protected and advanced the interests of Isoko sons and daughters at home and the diaspora”
