Efe-Nogo Foundation Donates Solar Lights To Orogun Grammar School ~ Truth Reporters

The Chief Do-Good Efe-Nogo Foundation, has on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022 donated ten (10) solar-powered lights to Orogun Grammar School, Orogun (OGSO) in memory of late Bigman Efe-Nogo

Chief Do-Good Efe-Nogo, the Executive Director of the Foundation, who is also an Old Boy of the school, stated that the donation was done in memory of his late younger brother, Bigman Efe-Nogo, who was the Senior Prefect of OGSO in 1999.

In his words, Chief Efe-Nogo stated that "the donation is significant in many respects. Chiefly, it is to relive the treasured memories of Bigman Efe-Nogo and all he stood for - discipline, service and compassion, because, as it is said "those who have left us do not necessarily depart from us—they stay in our hearts—and it’s nice to do something charitable to remember them."

While commissioning the project, the President General of OGSO World Wide, Evangelist Godspower Odenema, stated that "We are very happy for this generous donation by the Efe-Nogo Foundation. Bigman Efe-Nogo was the Senior Prefect of OGSO in the year 1999, but it pleased God to call him to heaven several years ago, but the elder brother, Chief Do-Good Efe-Nogo, the Oruese 1 of Orogun Kingdom deemed it fit that this should be done in memory of his late younger brother.

"So, today we are witnessing the kind donation of 10 of these poles and the 200 watts solar light that is installed along the Appian Way of our dear secondary school by the Foundation. 

“We cannot thank him enough for his generosity, patriotism and passion for the development of OGSO. We pray that since he has donated light and driven darkness from OGSO, God will drive darkness from his life. Anywhere he goes, the light of God will direct him. Since he has given this light to his alma mater, any where he goes to, the light of God will follow him.”

On handing over the street light after the commissioning, Evang. Odenema advised that the facility should be well taken care of, so that he can be encouraged to do more. He also used the opportunity to encourage other old boys of the school to emulate the wonderful gesture of Chief Do-Good.”

In a related development, the Principal of OGSO, Rev. Joshua Ichipi, while receiving the donation on behalf of the, management, staff and students of the school, stated that “we are happy for Chief Do-Good’s generosity and all he has been doing for this school.”
