2023: Muslim faithful pray for Atiku-Okowa in Saudi Arabia ~ Truth Reporters

A special prayer has been held in the holy land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia by some muslim faithful for the victory of the presidential candidate of the PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. 

The prayer was led by the Chairman, Delta State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Auwalu Tukur and one Imam Sheikh Abdullahi.

Alhaji Tukur said the Presidential ticket of Atiku and Okowa was divine and would help to transform the nation in all spheres especially addressing the worsening security situation,revamping of the economy,job creation,ethnic and religious harmony and  environment of an egalitarian society.

He said the prayers being held for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Okowa was not only for their victory in the 2023 general elections but also for Allah to intervene in the affairs of Nigeria in all areas. 

He thanked Governor Okowa for sponsoring Muslim Pilgrims from the State to the holy land and for the inclusion of non Indigenes in appointive positions and empowerment pledging their support for him beyond 2023.

Alhaji Tukur reminded Nigerians of the need to register in the on going Voters Registration Exercise to enable them vote for all candidates of the party in all elective positions in the 2023 general elections.

For his part, Sheikh Abdullahi commended Governor Okowa for his detribalized nature especially including non Deltans in his administration affirming that Nigeria needed people like him to break the jinx of ethnicity and disunity.

He urged Nigerians to vote out any party that does not  want  to carry every segment of the country along in the scheme of things.
