Urhobo Democratic Assembly (UDA) congratulates Okowa as VP to Atiku ~ Truth Reporters

Urhobo Democratic Assembly UDA led by her President, Olorogun Paul Ejakpomehwe Abu has expressed joy over the choice of His Excellency, Sen Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State as People's Democratic Party, PDP Vice Presidential Candidate to her Presidential Candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. 

In the congratulatory message signed by the President and  Secretary of the group, Olorogun Paul Ejakpomewhe Abu and Evang. Ejimitovwovwon Emmanuel respectively described Okowa choice as a round peg in a round hole, as Nigerian need an experienced politician of his status as vice president to stand by the president in rescuing Nigeria from the maladministration by the APC led government.

Sen. Okowa as a former Councill Chairman, Commissioner, Secretary to State government, former Senator and Currently serving Governor has all the required experience both as legislator and executive.

Urhobo Democratic Assembly also congratulated the Speaker of State House of Assembly and PDP Governorship candidate in Delta state, Okakuro Rt. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori who the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, the federal capital territory demissed four cases filed against him on his eligibility to contest the governorship election scheduled for March 2023.

The President and  Secretary of the group, Olorogun Paul Ejakpomewhe Abu and Evang. Ejimitovwovwon Emmanuel said Court upheld the masses mandate by dismissing the plaintiffs suit for lack of locus standi.

They noted that Oborevwori is a sagacious lawmaker whose contributions in the House cannot be overemphasized, Mr. Speaker emerged as PDP Governorship candidate under a free, fair and credible process and widely accepted across the state will make it easy for PDP to win the election in 2023.

Our prayers are with Oborevwori and the entire PDP family in the state, we shall mobilize all the nooks and cranny of the state for solicit vote for all PDP candidate, they said.
