Tidi congratulates Okowa as PDP VP candidate ~ Truth Reporters

...Says Deltans are unanimous In celebrating his nomination

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says Deltans are unanimous in the celebration of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on his nomination as running mate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP Presidential candidate for next year’s election.

According to him, The Wazirin Adamawa and former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, few minutes ago, ended all the suspense about the choice of his running mate in the 2023 presidential election, tweeting: “I am delighted to announce Governor @IAOkowa as my Vice Presidential candidate.

 

“I look forward to travelling our great country together, engaging with all Nigerians and building a shared future of peace, unity, and prosperity for all. As One We Can Get It Done. #OneNigeria”.

Dr. Michael Tidi in a swift reaction to the development, stated: “I am glad that my Boss, IAO has finally been unveiled as the Vice-Presidential Candidate of our great party, the PDP.

 

“His resilience and staying power show the possibility of Delta and its vast resources and limitless opportunities. IAO is a living inspiration to younger Deltans. His life, a testament to enterprise, industry and professionalism, constitutes a legacy for the present generation and many more to come. 

“It is indeed good that Deltans are unanimous in celebration of IAO nomination. First battle won, the next is the general election, which is in 9months time. It is not wrong for us to enjoy some blaring of the trumpets too, even as we return all glory to God Almighty”.

Recall that Dr. Michael Tidi, in a terse statement made available to Fresh Angle International Tuesday June 14, outlined the virtues of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, saying he remains the best bet for the position of PDP’s Presidential running mate, if the party must win the Presidential election next year.

In the statement, Dr. Tidi posited: “IAO (Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa) remains our party’s best bet, if we must win the presidential election.

“Let’s hope that our leaders would be willing to interrogate our history and be conscious of the enormous sacrifices IAO have made.

“IAO is a distinguished patriot and man of legendary fidelity, who had through his nationally-acknowledged integrity and strong drive for an equitable, just and egalitarian society, become a respectable voice in Nigeria’s polity”.
