Okowa's Stronger Delta anchored on indigenous tech, Agas, Eboh tell TSAP lubricant prod. participants ~ Truth Reporters

The Chief of Staff, Government House, Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas, Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer, Prof Eric Eboh, have charged the 50 graduating participants of the Technology Skills Acquisition Programme, (TSAP), on the utilization of lndigenous technology for the fabrication of lubricants production machine and production of lubricants under the aegis of the state ministry of science and technology, on the need to join the Okowa administration in driving the Stronger Delta vision of the Okowa administration to it's logical conclusion.

Giving the advice in their separate admonitions during the closing ceremony of the TSAP programme at the ICT hub, Asaba, the duo of Rt Hon Agas and Professor Eboh also urged the participants to avail themselves of all aspects of the training programme , tasking them to use the wealth of experience garnered from the resource persons to advance their frontiers of knowledge and bring it to bear on their further use of the benefits derived from the programme.

They stated that Governor lfeanyi Okowa was passionate about empowering youths of the State through myriad of programmes such as the TSAP, to mention a few.

Earlier in her address of welcome, the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mrs Jennifer Efeviroro, said with the increasing diversification of the oil industry, lubricants play a vital role in the economy of the global oil market, thus the need for Deltans to tap in and benefit from the gold mine.

Noting that of the 250 million litres of lubricants consumed Nationwide annually, only 150 million litres is readily available, and as such, Deltans through the TSAP programme can key into the 100 million litres shortfall thus providing more employment for teeming youths. 

The Delta Science and Technology Commissioner thanked Governor Okowa for providing the needed support towards a historic trail blazing training Programme.

While commending the Technology lncubation Centre (TIC), for a thorough job of training the 50 participating graduands of the programme, Mrs Jennifer Adasen Efeviroro disclosed that plans are underway to domicile the programme through the Asaba centre, such that consecutive trainings will be done by the graduands of the programme.

Highpoints of the TSAP graduation was presentation of certificates of graduation to the participants by the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mrs Jennifer Efeviroro and the COS/ Chief Job Creation officer among others.
