Osanebi's homecoming attracts over 10,000 Ndokwa people ~ Truth Reporters

..As lawmaker gifts cars, empowers market women, youths

The serene town of Beneku in ndokwa east local government area today played host to over 10,000 ndokwa people from the three local government area of ndokwa nation state, as ndokwa people received, hosted and crowned Osanebi as the supreme political leader of ndokwa nation.

The homecoming event, first of it's kind in Ndokwa Nation, saw women, youths, leaders and kings in their thousands gather at Ndam secondary school Beneku to welcome home ndokwa's most illustrious son, Friday Ossai Osanebi.

Taking to the stage first, president general of ndokwa youths, Comr. Onwubolu Benjamin while welcoming everyone present, said that the leadership prowess of Osanebi is unprecedented in the history of Ndokwa Nation and that's why ndokwa people have declared to follow him wherever he goes politically.

Man of the moment, Rt. Hon Friday Ossai Osanebi waltzing through the sea of crowd, mounted the stage to speak to ndokwa people for the first time in two years.

Addressing the crowd, Osanebi said his staying away from ndokwa nation was not intentional but due to circumstances beyond his control, adding that now he's back home fully to be with his people and chart away forward for 2023.

According to Osanebi, he is not concerned about Asaba type of politics, his only concern is the grassroot as they are the ones who decides the elections through their votes.

Sounding a firm notice to the people of ndokwa nation, the master of empowerment made it very clear that the elections of 2023 will be decided by the people, and it's whoever they decide to support across the three local government that's who he is going to queue behind.

He assured all present that he will put their interest first above his own and that collectively they will all sit down to decide who represents ndokwa people at all levels.

On the empowerment, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, said, the gesture is part of his efforts to making many youths employers of labour as well as appreciating his constituents for the love they have showed him over the past two years. He noted that those empowered on various skills has been trained with economically viable skills through the Ndokwa Youth Entrepreneurial/Empowerment Skill Acquisition Scheme (NYEESAS), hence they are empowering them with tools and in turn make them self reliance.

Those empowered with starters packs, cars and cashes, by the Honourable Member during the event include; 10 beneficiaries who were trained on Computer Application and Web Development, 10 beneficiaries trained on Hair Dressing, 30 beneficiaries trained on Baking and Confectionaries.

Others are 20 beneficiaries empowered with cars, 40 beneficiaries trained on Fashion and Design, and 10 beneficiaries given Grinding Machine, and 200 market women empowered with with cash to support their businesses.

Highlight of the event was the crowning of Osanebi as the supreme political leader of ndokwa nation in a motion moved by secretary general of ndokwa youths, Idi Presley, with everyone present declaring that wherever Osanebi stands politically that's where they will stand.
