Okowa’s aide, Irogbo, wife bag Azani, Ivie titles ~ Truth Reporters
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta on Peace and Conflict Resolution Chief Afor Irogbo Esq and wife Chief Mrs Ufuoma Irogbo were yesterday confered with the chieftaincy titles of Azani and Ivie of Ellu Kingdom, by HRM Murphy Othuke Urugbezi, Ogwara I, the Ovie of Ellu Kingdom.
The couple who are lawyers of many years standing, were found worthy for the honour by the Ellu monarch for their outstanding contributions to peace and development of their communities and Delta State in general.
The King charged the recipients to be good ambassadors of the Kingdom as they have always been a role model that people look up to in the society.
Responding Chief Irogbo thanked the monarch for finding them worthy to be honoured and promised to be a good ambassador of the kingdom.
He said that the chieftaincy title will further buoy him to do more for the society.
The ceremony was attended by former President General of Isoko Development Union, High Chief Iduh Amadhe, Chief Duncan Afahokor Esq, Chief Hon. Emamusi Obiodeh, Chief Louis Onofighe among others.
