EPM to register more voters in Isoko, says Alakpodia ~ Truth Reporters

Younger Isoko entrepreneurs and students leaders under the auspice of Everise Progressive Movement, EPM on Sunday pledged to embarked on an aggressive mobilization of more people in Isoko South and North Local Government Areas to get registered in the ongoing voters’ registration .

The national coordinator of the group, Amb Egwu Oghenero Alakpodia disclosed that the aim was to boost the voting strength of Isoko Federal constituency in the forthcoming general election billed to hold next year, 2023

According to him, the youths in Isoko have been shortchanged politically and economically embattled owing to the present reality of politics in Nigeria which clearly shows the political system is under siege by the actions, inactions and reactions of the ageing political drivers of the nation in policymaking and implementation which doesn’t favour the youths of Isoko Federal Constituency in Delta State

Alakpodia who is a chieftain of the PDP in Isoko said EPM sets out primarily to be the voice of the youths by bridging the gap between the youths and the political leaders in Isoko Federal Constituency in Delta State.

To this, he stressed on imperative of voters’ registration and revalidation, stating that the youths in Isoko would be a decisive factor in the next general election.

Among those who spoke in the same vein were the Secretary General of the group, Comrade Oke Omuko And an Ex Officio, Comrade Oreva Efenudu who said the EPM is poised to get Isoko Federal Constituency working again, urging for a collaborative efforts in ensuring a mass mobilization of the people to register and vote for credible leaders who would redeem the nation.

They said for the youths of Isoko to make a difference then there is need to be engaged in the formal political process and, have a say in the formulation of the politics of the present and the future.
