DESOPADEC Commissioner, Ex-ICAN President, others attend Emevor annual conference ~ Truth Reporters
The DESOPADEC commissioner representing Isoko ethnic nationality, Dr Paul Oweh, immediate past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, Mrs Onome Joy Adewuyi; foremost humanitarian and philanthropist, Laura Ojomo; financial expert and MD Amju Micro Finance Bank, Dr Jonathan Ososuakpo were among dignitaries that attended the 2021 Emevor annual delegates conference, held 26/12/2021 at the Emevor civic centre.
Declaring the conference opened, the Odion of Emevor kingdom, HRH Dr Johnholt Ologho called for unity, peace and progress, as he guided the conference to look into the developmental issues of electricity, re-establishment of the Emevor police station and industrialisation.
The conference formally commenced session with the president general's address. The president general, Sir Moses Agboro in his address raised issues of development and matters of concern to the community.
He commended the Governor Okowa led administration and particularly appreciated the commissioner representing Isoko nation, Dr Paul Oweh for the 2 kilometers Emevor Bye-pass road executed through DESOPADEC
He however called the attention of the governor to keep his promise on the reconstruction of the first section of the Emevor/Orogun road.
Other issues include the deplorable state of infrastructure in our primary schools and continued abandonment of NDDC projects amongst others.
