Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, has identified commitment, passion, focus and diligence as the driving forces for youths to realise their set targets in life.

The commissioner stated this  when  the Executives of the Nigerian Christian Copers Fellowship (NCCF) paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Asaba, the state capital.

He commended them  for the efforts they had made over the years in spreading the gospel of Christ to the grassroots and the assistance to Christian members in camp and thereafter.

Comrade Egwunyenga encouraged them not to be deterred by constraints, but to continue to push on with the assurance that their efforts would pay off in the near future.

He said that service year was a transition  period where they could be remoulded into becoming better persons and pledged to be of assistance where he could.

Earlier, the state President of NCCF, Mr Timothy Alheri, and the Grand Patron, Pastor Chuks Anizo, congratulated  the commissioner for his reappointment and for according them warm reception, just they requested for assistance concerning the location of the family house of the  NCCF.

Meanwhile, the commissioner has also hosted some youths from Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state with a call on them to participate actively in the ongoing INEC voters card registration exercise by registering for the cards.

Comrade Egunyenga gave the advice when the President General and members of the Ndokwa East Community Youth Council (NECYC) paid him a visit.

He commended them for their cooperation when he embarked on a sensitisation exercise on rural youth skill acquisition in the locality, just as he lauded their peaceful dispositions towards the oil firm in the area.

Earlier they had expressed gratitude to the state governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, for reappointing the commissioner, adding that they had come to identify with and assure him of their total support at all times, even as they used the occasion to inform the commissioner of their upcoming youth summit later in the year.
