Explorers Initiative presents Physics Prize to best student ~ Truth Reporters









The Explorers Innovative Initiative a Non-Governmental Organization has presented 'The Explorers Physics Prize' to the Best SS1 Student in Physics.

A board of trustees’ member and pioneer President, The Explorers Innovative Initiative (EII), Mr. Felix Ugbesia, presented the award at a ceremony held at the Assembly Hall, Government College Ughelli, Delta state during the 4TH Edition of GCUOBA Awards, prizes & Testimonials (APT) & Reunion day. 

It is the second time EII as an NGO presents such award to the best physics student. Mr Felix Ugbesia, o behalf of the association promised that the award will be sustained annually as part of her cooperate social responsibility (CSR) to encourage students of the College to excell academically and morally. 

In a related development; President General Worldwide, Arc. Charles Majoroh commissioned various projects such as Skill Acquisition Workshop (donated by  class of 1980), Renovated Music hall (1968 Class Project), Wall of Honour (GCUOBA NEC Project). The event also included the presentation of certificates to 1980 Class members and Testimonials, as well as 'the ship' to SS3 Graduating students.


Among other prizes given to the graduating students of Government college Ughelli are Dumaka Okeke prize, Cyril Carter prize, Demas Akpore literature Award, J.E. Jones Arts Award and Explorers Physics Prize.


Some of the members of the National Executive council of GCUOBA present at the event are; Arc. Charles Majoroh (President-General Worldwide) and Chief Albert Akpomudje SAN (1st Vice-President General) and other prominent dignitaries.
