Okpai youths laud Ezechi for exemplary leadership ~ Truth Reporters

Youths of Okpai community in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta have commended the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi for his untiring efforts in ensuring peace, development and economic prosperity of the Ndokwa nation.

The youths gave the commendation when they visited Ezechi at at Okpai on Friday.

In their separate remarks, the youths unanimously applauded Hon Ezechi for his leadership qualities, which had stood him out among his contemporaries in Ndokwa land and Okpai in particular.

Those who spoke include former Youth Presidents, Comrades Eric Egwuonwu and Ndidi Oneh, as well as Comrades Chukwutem Life, Eseagwu Kelvin, Chuks Ibuaka, among others.

They also thanked Gov. Okowa for the construction of Beneku-Kwale Bridge and appealed to His Excellency to call on the contractor handling the job to speed up the work.

They described Okpai as a core PDP community and further appealed to the Governor to complete the abandoned 1km DESOPADEC road project in Okpai-Oluchi and possibly embark on the construction of the 13km road from Okpai-Oluchi to Okpai Obeze, as Okpai had contributed immensely to the economy of Nigeria and Delta State in particular.

Hon Ezechi, who thanked them for their loyalty and support for the PDP, urged them to remain peaceful and law abiding in order benefit more from the people - oriented policies and programmes of the state government.

He assured them that Governor Okowa was not unmindful of their peaceful disposition and support which had enabled the government to record some successes in infrastructural and human capital development in the Ndokwa axis and enjoined them to sustain the good conduct.

The EA promised to transmit the demands of the youths to the Governor, whom he said had listening ears to problems facing the people and would in his usual character act accordingly to address such problems.

In another development Hon Ezechi today in Ezionum in Ukwuani LGA congratulated the newly inaugurated Youth wing of Ndokwa Neku Union by the supreme President General Gen Mike Ndubuisi.

The Apex youths organ led By Comr Ifeanyi Odiachi, Comr Dumbi Ossai Vice Chairman, Comr Emmanuel Obah Secretary and other executives.

Ezechi thanked the President General of Ndokwa Neku Union Gen Mike Ndubuisi and his executives for his love for Ndokwa people with his NDOKWA FIRST MANTRA and the successful swearing in of the youth wing.

The Executive Assistant also called the youth Executives to see their offices as a call to serve and showcase their qualities.
