M.O.C. Eto: Isoko has lost a patriot - Leo Ogor ~ Truth Reporters











The Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Leo Ogor has expressed grief at the passing of former Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Sir Matthias Eto. 


Ogor in a condolence message said the deceased stood with him throughout his political career, adding: “He was a great Isoko patriot, an astute politician and an amazing personality who related well with the young and the old” 


"He was a devout Christian and soldier of Christ as a Knight of the Anglican Communion" 


Ogor recalled that as Chairman of his Campaign Organisation in 2011, Hon. Eto contributed contributed immensely to the growth and strengthening of the PDP, leading to the victory of the party in the 2011 general elections. 


The ace lawmaker commiserated with the Eto family, the people of Oleh community and the entire Isoko nation on the passing of the renowned politician and community leader. 


He lauded the late politician who until his death was the Political Adviser to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly for his unrelenting contributions to the peace and development of Isoko communities. 


The former Minority Leader prayed that God will grant the departed eternal rest and comfort family, friends and political associates in this period of grief.
