Dame Okowa celebrates Agas at 50 ~ Truth Reporters
The wife of the Governor of Delta and Founder O5 Initiative, Dame Edith Okowa has congratulated Mrs Oghenekevwe Agas on her 50th birth anniversary.
In a statement by her Special Assistant on Media, Mrs Alicia Dominic-Okobi, Dame Okowa extolled Mrs Agas for her continuous support of the programs of the O5 Initiative as Director-General.
The wife of the Governor recalled the hard times the nation faced during the pandemic and the role of Mrs Agas in ensuring the success of the programmes of the Initiative.
According to her, "no event of the O5 Initiative failed, we had back to back programmes, we even went as far as reaching those who were unable to come to us in their various homes.
"All these were made possible because Mrs Agas, the DG was on her toes.
"I want to thank you for believing in the vision and mission of the O5 Initiative. Our outreaches are result oriented.
"Being part of the Help Ministry, you have brought to bear the fulfilment of our anchor scripture Matthew 25:35-36 in the lives of many," Okowa said.
Mrs Okowa added that her commitment to excellence also earned her a place as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs.
She urged the celebrant to keep doing good as she serves humanity.
"As you celebrate this milestone, I pray the Lord will bless and keep you, grant you wisdom and satisfy you with long life.
"On behalf of the O5 family, I wish you a beautiful 50th birth anniversary celebration," Dame Okowa stated.
