APC chieftain rejects Eradiri's NDDC appointment, says he's a PDP man ~ Truth Reporters

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta, Comr. John Gbozimor, popularly known as JP has rejected the appointment of former president of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Engr. Udengs Eradiri as Special Assistant to the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) on youths.
Comr. Gbozimor had called on President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio and Mr. Effiong Akwa to immediately reverse the appointment, stressing that the appointment will rather worsen the already tensed situation in the region.
Gbozimor noted that it is an aberration and an insult to appoint a champion of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State to occupy such a position under the watch of an APC Government, stressing that what this portends is that there are no credible people in the APC to occupy such office.
The APC chieftain made his position known via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to Truth Reporters.
He stressed that if the appointment is not reversed immediately, it would mean that there is no regard for those loyal youths or members of the APC.
He continued that while it is wrong for a former president of the revered Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide to reduce himself to accept such position, Comr. John said the entire appointment is wrong and done in bad fate hence must be corrected urgently, describing as a grave error.
Gbozimor said the former IYC President have completely belittled the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, a revered global youth organisation by accepting an SA appointment on the NDDC after being its national president for years.
However, the APC youth leader expresses shock on how Engr. Eradiri, a former commissioner in Bayelsa would choose to humiliate himself by allegedly proudly pressing forward to be appointed as SA youths in the NDDC.
He asserted that while he is aware that Engr. Eradiri is yet to collect his letter of appointment, he had however called on those in authority to suspend the appointment but rather give it to other capable Ijaw Youth from the many out there.
Mr. Gbozimor had also called on the presidency to urgently constitute a substantive board for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), adding that all these appointments of a sole administrator, SA appointments where all diversionary measures to hoodwink people of the region.
