Isoko North PDP reaffirm party's zoning arrangement ~ Truth Reporters

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko North have reaffirmed the party leadership position on zoning of political offices in the area.

Rising from a joint meeting of LGA EXCO and 13 Ward Chairmen on Thursday at Otor-Igho, the party resolved to support the Isoko North Party leadership position on zoning arrangement/status quo.

Barr. Isaac Atikueke PDP Isoko North Legal Adviser, while briefing the press said the meeting was peaceful, successful and resolved as follows;

"That the party at both LGA and Ward levels appreciated the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for  his unwavering support to the party and making the party to attain a limelight position across the state.

"That the party unanimously reaffirmed the position of the Isoko North party Leadership on zoning arrangement/ status quo for the interest of peace, unity and stability of the party in the Local Government Area.

"That the party passed a vote of confidence on the Isoko North PDP Leadership humbly led by Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor, member representing Isoko Federal Constituency for the manner they have piloted the affairs of the party in Isoko North LGA.
Atikueke further said: "the party also passed a vote of confidence on Isoko North Party Chairman, Prince Godwin Ogorugba for his exemplary leadership style that is making the party more united, peaceful and formidable in the local government.

"The party called on members who left the party prior to the 2019 general election to officially return to the party through their ward Chairmen.

"That the party constituted a 7-man disciplinary committee headed by Barr. Isaiah Onokowake which will be inaugurated soon." he stated.
