BREAKING: Obaseki re-elected, defeats Ize-Iyamu with 84,336 votes ~ Truth Reporters

Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the Edo State Governorship election held on Sept. 19.
Obaseki won in 13 Local Government Areas while his main challenger, Mr Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress won in 5 local government areas mainly in Edo North where former Governor Adams Oshiomhole hails from.
According to the results already announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the PDP polled 307,955 votes while APC scored 223,619 with a difference of 84,336 votes.
