COVID-19: LGA updates as Delta records 1 new case, total now 1640, discharges 1443 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has recorded one new case of the Coronavirus bringing the total infections in the state to 1640 and active cases rose to 151 on Saturday.

According to figures from the State Ministry of Health, 1,443 patients have been succesfully treated and discharged while 46 fatalities have so far been recorded on account of the pandemic.

Delta is on 9th position among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano and Plateau states. The state has so far carried out tests on 7,675 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
